ABOUT

Currently competing in the 3'6 equitation, 1.25 meter Jumpers, and 3'6 Junior Hunters, I have already qualified for, and competed, at the most prestigious national finals, and won many top results in AA rated shows in Wellington, Florida, Traverse City, MI, Lexington, KY and Tryon, NC. Some of my accomplishments include placing 13th and 15th place out of 200 national finalists at Capital Challenge, a 13th place ribbon at the National Junior Hunter Finals, Champion in the Age Group Equitation out of 45 entries at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center,  Zone 7 Year End Age Group Equitation Champion, Texas Hunter Jumper Age Group Equitation Year-End Champion, Best Child Rider on a Horse award.  I am most proud to have been chosen for the Wyatt McDaniel Sportsmanship Award. At home, I train with Kalli Smith at Monarch Stables (Austin, TX) and for equitation finals, I travel with either Don Stewart of Don Stewart Stables (Ocala, FL) and Frank Madden of Capital Hill Show Stables (Wellington, FL).

I attend a small private school in Austin where I am in all honors and AP classes. I especially enjoy writing and debating, as well as history, politics and government.  I am also in Honors Spanish 6 because I have a passion for foreign language as a bridge to connecting with other people in different cultures.

I am active in community service, with over 150 hours served. As a sophomore, I was selected as a Blue Key Ambassador by my teachers and introduce new and prospective students to the campus making them feel at home. I am a part of the Best Buddies non-profit program, where I've befriended and frequently write to a student with developmental and learning differences.  One of my favorite service projects is working with children recovering from family trauma at the Helping Hand Home. Trick-or-treating with girls from the home  stands out as my most rewarding service experience.

During the summer of 2025, I spent 8 weeks on the road working as my trainer's travel assistant.  We covered over 3,000 miles as I drove behind 10 horses from Austin to Kentucky to Michigan and back to Austin.

I am very outgoing, fun-loving, and am dedicated to the sport.  My grandmother sat me on an old western horse with her when I was a year old and I started lessons at age 7.  Now I train over 20 hours per week and travel more than 23 weeks a year. I have conquered every goal I set out for junior riding career and I look forward to the next chapter ahead.
